We look after our country and culture on behalf of our people. Our work is guided by Karribolkmurrngrayekwon, which is our plan for strong healthy Bininj (people) and Kunred (country).
Our country is found in the Western Arnhem Land region of the Northern Territory, Australia. The area of our clan estates are in the region of the East Alligator River, including parts of the northern regions of Kakadu National Park and the Arnhem Land Aboriginal Land Trust lands.
We call ourselves Bininj. Although we are made up of a number of different clans and speak different dialects, we share a common main language of Kunwinjku.
