The Njanjma Ranges have a number of ongoing research collaborations with academics associated with The Australian National University, Flinders University, and the University of California Berkeley. The Njanjma Rangers research focuses are the fields of archaeology, cultural heritage management and earth sciences. Much of these research collaborations focus on caring for cultural heritage places on country, with a focus on bim and the natural landscape in which our cultural places are situated. Researchers such as Tristen Jones and Daryl Wesley have worked with Njanjma Rangers since the groups inception. Of particular interest is the recording, dating, management and conservation of rock art.
