Njanjma Rangers works closely with the Gunbalanya School in running a Junior Ranger program. Senior Elders Alfred and Leah Nayinggul are the lead senior Rangers that are engaged to develop and mentor school children. This initiative is funded by the Gunbalanya School and the Stronger Communities for Children Program and the Adjumarllarl Aboriginal Corporation.

As part of the Junior Rangers program in October 2016, ANU researchers Tristen Jones and Penny King held a 'Learn about Archaeology and rock art' day. The Njanjma Rangers are also developing a 'Celebrate Rock Art' program for local school children.

Njanjma Rangers is hosting school visits from interstate, including a group of Year 9 students from St Leonards school in Melbourne in 2017.

We hope this will be the start of other educational programs we run, including developing more educational materials and visiting programs for school children from all around Australia.
